Garden Pop
The Community Foundation of Pinecrest presents Garden Pop, a Fine Art Event at Pinecrest Gardens (11000 Red Road) featuring the works of Andy Warhol and his contemporaries (Donald Sultan, Tom Wesselmann, Larry Rivers, Jim Dine, Robert Indiana, and Roy Lichtenstein) as well as the works of several local artists including Joan Miro, Jasper Johns, Russell Young, Romero Britto, Erika King, Eileen Seitz, and Purvis Young.
The exhibition free to the public will run for three weeks after preview night through November 25, 2009, Tuesday through Sunday. 20% of the proceeds from the sale of art will benefit the CFP and, in particular, improvements to Pinecrest Gardens.
